Jiang-Ming Yang is very technical engineering manager who is able to build complex systems/products with experience in mature and startup companies, especially for payment and e-commerce area. He is currently an Engineer Manager at Square working on payment frontend. Prior to Square, he was Development Director of Electronic Arts responsible for commerce and identity works on next generation console: Xbox One and PS4, for all EA titles, e.g. FIFA 14, BF4, Madden, NFS, NBA, UFC, DA3 and PvZGW. Before joining Electronic Arts, he was a Senior Software Development Lead in Test of Commerce Platform (CP) group of Microsoft Corporation and leading engineers on infrastructure & backend process teams of Platform, designing and implementing the infrastructure changes to scale out, driving the new backend process framework and support the data migration for new partner onboarding. He was with Microsoft Research Asia with research interests on information retrieval, data mining and consistency maintenance. He has published over 30 papers in premier academic conferences including WWW, SIGIR, SIGKDD, SIGGROUP, MM, CIKM and has also filed 16 U.S./International patents.

He received the M.S. and B.S. degree in Computer Science from Fudan University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively.
